Skilled & Work Visas

Turn Your Skills into Australian Residency

Got the skills? Australia wants them. But the points system is tricky. One wrong box ticked and you could face months of delays.
As the visa agency Sydney locals trust, MCS Visas helps engineers, tradespeople, and professionals navigate the maze. You focus on your career; we handle the red tape.

    Skilled Independent Visa (Subclass 189)

Permanent Residency | No Sponsor Needed This is the ultimate freedom visa. It allows you to live and work anywhere in Australia permanently. You don’t need a sponsor or a state nomination—just a qualifying occupation and a high enough points score.

    Skilled Nominated Visa (Subclass 190)

Permanent Residency | State Sponsored: Need a points boost? This visa works like the 189 but requires a nomination from an Australian state government. In exchange for their support, you agree to live in that state for your first few years. It’s a great option if you are willing to settle where your skills are needed most.

Skilled Regional (Provisional) Visa (Subclass 491)

Regional Pathway | 5-Year Visa The best route isn’t always through the big cities. This provisional visa lets you live and work in regional Australia for five years. It is a direct pathway to permanent residency (Subclass 191) once you have lived and worked in a regional area for three years. You are even entitled to get Medicare Card with this visa subclass.

Strongly recommend Samir's well organised service. He is super flexible and competent in what he is doing. 🤜(4 years ago) Here I am coming back to review Samir after 4 years. I have done my earlier review as a student. Since then, I was working with Samir until today to hear the news of myPermanent Residency grant. He has supported me all through this time with great professionalism. Samir did attend to my phone calls and emails in no time and taken good care of the work he does. It was very comfortable to leave the applications with him and stay relaxed as I knew he does his job 100%. Thank u again Samir and I wish u all the very best!

Today is most important and special day in my life. I got my Permanent Resident . I met to Mr. Shamir when Australia Immigration told me leave this country ASAP . I explained to him my whole story to him. He told me if you speak truth don’t worry I will fight for you. He follow the Australia Law and Rule and prepare my file. He is very intelligent and hard working person he checked each and everything by himself. Today within 2 years I got my P.R. Thank you so much by heart Mr. Shamir .

    FAQs

    Do I have enough points?

You generally need a minimum of 65 points (based on age, English, and skills) just to apply. However, realistic invite scores are often higher. We can calculate your exact score in minutes.

Why use a visa agency in Sydney?

Immigration laws change constantly. We catch the small mistakes that lead to refusals, ensuring your application is “decision-ready” the moment we submit it.

    Can I bring my family?

Yes. For these visas, you can usually include your partner and dependent children. They typically get full work and study rights, just like you.

    What if I don't have a sponsor?

That’s what the Subclass 189 is for. If your points are high enough, you don’t need one. If not, we can look at state nomination (190) to help you qualify.
