Guided by Ethics. Driven by Merit. Committed to You.
Meritocracy Consultancy Services (MCS Visas) was born out of a desire to bring transparency and integrity to the Australian migration industry. Established in 2005, our firm was founded on a singular belief: that migration advice should be accessible, honest, and based purely on merit.
Our founder, Samir Lakhani, saw too many people being given poor advice or being treated as “just another file number” by large firms. He wanted to create a migration agency in Sydney that put the human being back at the center of the process. For nearly two decades, we have held true to that vision. We have grown not through flashy advertising, but through the word-of-mouth recommendations of happy families, successful professionals, and satisfied students.
OUR PHILOSOPHY
The name “Meritocracy” wasn’t chosen by accident. We believe that Australia is a land of opportunity where hard work and genuine intent should be rewarded. As your immigration consultant in Sydney, our job is to present your case to the Department of Home Affairs in a way that highlights your merits—your skills, your genuine relationships, and your potential contribution to Australian society.
MEET THE TEAM
Our team is our greatest asset. We are a diverse group of professionals who come from various backgrounds, but we share a common goal: your success. Every registered migration agent in Sydney working at MCS Visas is fully qualified, up-to-date with the latest legislative changes, and deeply passionate about migration law.
We are not just agents; many of us are migrants ourselves. We stood in the queues, filled out the forms, and felt the anxiety of waiting. This shared experience allows us to empathize with you on a deeper level. We don’t just sympathize; we understand.
WHY & WHAT WE DO
Migration is transformative. It changes lives.
We do it for the moment a father is reunited with his daughter after years apart.
We do it for the student who gets to study at a world-class university.
We do it for the business that finds the perfect skilled employee to grow their company.
Being migration agents in Sydney is a responsibility we take seriously. We know that a visa refusal can be devastating, leading to financial loss and emotional heartbreak. That is why we employ a multi-tier review system for every application. No application leaves our office until it has been double-checked for accuracy and compliance.
OUR COMMITMENT TO ETHICS
In an industry that can sometimes be murky, we stand as a beacon of trust. We adhere strictly to the OMARA Code of Conduct. We are transparent about our fees, realistic about timelines, and honest about outcomes. If we believe your case has low prospects of success, we will tell you upfront rather than taking your money for a doomed application.
JOIN THE MCS FAMILY
When you sign on with MCS Visas, you aren’t just a client; you become part of our story. We are proud to be a leading migration agency in Sydney, helping shape the multicultural fabric of this great city.
